Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the impact of future technology investments
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and executing forward-looking tech strategies
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI/ML, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities with data-driven decision-making
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Certification in technology management or innovation (e.g., CTO Academy, MIT Sloan)
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across organizational levels
