Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Oversee pilot programs for breakthrough technologies in real-world applications
- Establish KPIs to measure technology adoption ROI and competitive advantage
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in executive leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Published research in peer-reviewed tech journals or conference proceedings
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets from venture capital or corporate entities
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, etc.)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Java preferred)
