Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and piloting next-gen solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Drive innovation culture through internal workshops and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products/services
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical trends
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- MSc/PhD in relevant technical field or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism
