Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology roadmapping for 2026-2030 product ecosystem
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic AI)
- Design cross-disciplinary innovation frameworks combining hardware/software/biotech
- Present technology strategies to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage $15M+ R&D portfolio with 12+ cross-functional teams
- Secure patents and publish research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science)
- Build partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and NASA innovation labs
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Biotechnology with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies (3+ major products)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Executive-level stakeholder management with Fortune 500 experience
- Published author in peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Proficiency in technology forecasting frameworks (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong background in ethical tech governance and responsible innovation
- Ability to secure multi-million dollar research grants and partnerships
