Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology sectors
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging risks and opportunities in 2026+ tech landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present future technology frameworks to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Monitor global tech policy developments and advise on regulatory strategy
- Drive internal innovation programs to identify and cultivate disruptive ideas
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or biotech innovation
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Deep understanding of emerging tech commercialization pathways
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from lab to market
- Security clearance eligibility preferred (for government collaboration)
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic highly advantageous
