- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscaping for emerging technology domains
- Develop strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and government innovation labs
- Present visionary technology briefings to investors and board members
- Drive R&D investments in breakthrough technologies with 10x potential
- Establish ethical frameworks for future technology deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 5+ year foresight track record
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, sustainable energy)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding for experimental technologies
