Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead discovery and evaluation of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR) for commercial viability
- Collaborate with C-suite to prioritize R&D investments and moonshot initiatives
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present compelling technology roadmaps to investors and board members
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-tech adoption methodologies
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory landscapes to mitigate risks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Executive presence with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Deep network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems
