Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year impact potential
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 partners
- Coordinate with AI, IoT, and sustainability research teams
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and investors
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets for experimental projects
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends
- Mentor junior futurists and technical architects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven experience with long-term technology forecasting
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or climate tech
- Published research in IEEE or Nature journals preferred
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Strong stakeholder management across global organizations
- Portfolio of implemented future-focused initiatives
- Security clearance eligibility for government projects
