Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology) for market disruption potential
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and scale next-gen solutions with 18-24 month horizons
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and global tech ecosystems
- Present technology forecasts and innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor innovation teams in future-proofing methodologies and emerging tech adoption
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts impacting technology deployment strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation roles
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of commercializing experimental technologies
- Executive experience with 3+ technology transitions in enterprise environments
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (patents, white papers, keynotes)
- Experience building innovation pipelines with 5+ year time horizons
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
