Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with corporate vision and market disruption forecasts
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year commercialization potential
- Architect proof-of-concept frameworks for emerging domains (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology computing)
- Champion adoption of exponential technologies through executive briefings and stakeholder education
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic research labs and government innovation consortia
- Quantify ROI scenarios for next-gen tech investments using predictive modeling tools
- Mentor a cross-disciplinary team of futurists, engineers, and data scientists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record of launching at least two paradigm-shifting tech products/services
- Expertise in exponential technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, nanotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Published research or patents in future technologies or strategic foresight
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, technology roadmapping)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to executive audiences
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., APMP, CSTM)
