- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies and assess commercial viability
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners on scalable urban tech deployments
- Drive ethical framework development for autonomous decision-making systems
- Present strategic innovation blueprints to C-suite and investors
- Manage R&D budget allocation for experimental technology incubation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in strategic futures planning
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized future-tech products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on emerging technologies
- Experience with federal/state innovation grant programs (SBIR, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable tech impact from concept to market
