Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for 2026+ technology roadmaps
- Architect ethical AI frameworks and quantum-resistant security protocols
- Develop sustainable tech solutions with measurable environmental impact
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Translate complex future concepts into actionable product roadmaps
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused innovation methodologies
- Present findings to C-suite and industry thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in advanced R&D with published work in IEEE/Nature journals
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or biodesign
- Proficiency with Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with ethical AI governance frameworks
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ patented technologies or industry-shifting projects
- Fluency in future foresight methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Ability to secure $1M+ in innovation grants or VC funding
