Responsibilities
- Lead research and development of next-gen technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, decentralized systems)
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption vectors
- Collaborate with C-suite to shape innovation strategy and investment priorities
- Build and lead cross-functional labs for rapid prototyping of future-forward solutions
- Identify emerging tech trends and translate them into actionable business opportunities
- Present visionary technology blueprints to investors and industry stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in emerging tech with 5+ years in strategic innovation roles
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or Web3 infrastructure
- Proven track record of launching transformative tech products/services
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Published thought leadership in tech journals/conferences (IEEE, ACM, etc.)
- Experience leading R&D budgets exceeding $5M
- Portfolio of patented technologies or open-source contributions
