Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market forecasts
- Conduct competitive intelligence and scenario planning for future tech landscapes
- Partner with R&D to prioritize innovation investments and validate technical feasibility
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and translate complex concepts into actionable plans
- Build relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on future technology adoption
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and translating to business value
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences and technical teams
- Experience developing strategic roadmaps and innovation frameworks
- Master's degree in relevant field (MBA, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation domains
