Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum computing, neural interfaces, and generative AI
- Analyze global tech trends and regulatory shifts to identify market opportunities and risks
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and futurists to translate vision into actionable plans
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members using data-driven storytelling
- Partner with marketing to position company thought leadership in emerging tech spaces
- Monitor competitor innovation and patent landscapes to maintain competitive advantage
- Build relationships with academic institutions and research labs to access cutting-edge developments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong presentation skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
