Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) to develop 5-10 year strategic frameworks
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Present strategic roadmaps to stakeholders with data-driven market impact projections
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academic researchers, and tech pioneers
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Develop KPI frameworks to measure long-term strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with scenario planning and trend forecasting methodologies
- Strong presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption preferred
