Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to identify and prioritize disruptive technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Develop comprehensive technology adoption roadmaps aligned with business objectives and societal trends
- Conduct scenario planning and risk analysis for emerging tech deployments (quantum, AI, AR/VR)
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry pioneers
- Present technology visions to executive leadership and investors with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical tech implementation and responsible innovation
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams on future-tech integration methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership with proven 5+ year horizon planning
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, neuromorphic chips)
- Track record of commercializing future-facing technologies (patents/launches required)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to map complex tech ecosystems
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Experience with futures methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, Delphi analysis)
- Fluency in technology valuation models and ROI frameworks for nascent innovations
