Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological disruptions (quantum computing, AGI, biotech fusion)
- Develop and maintain the company's 5-year technology strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Conduct competitive intelligence and market positioning analysis in emerging tech sectors
- Partner with product teams to translate strategic insights into innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business units
- Author thought leadership content and industry white papers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of developing multi-year tech roadmaps with successful execution
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Experience with futures methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi techniques)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and stakeholder management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or strategy publications
