Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype future-proof solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech innovators
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation ROI
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and vendor relationships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused tech initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with strategic planning frameworks and scenario modeling
- Strong communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or conferences
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., AWS Quantum, Google AI)
