Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology foresight strategies aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, etc.)
- Establish strategic partnerships with cutting-edge research institutions and technology pioneers
- Present future technology frameworks to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory landscapes affecting innovation ecosystems
- Design scalable implementation roadmaps for breakthrough technologies
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching at least two disruptive technology initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech innovation ecosystem
- Presentation skills to complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
