Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps by analyzing emerging trends, patent landscapes, and market disruption vectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify exponential opportunities in biotech, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Produce scenario-based impact assessments for regulatory shifts and societal adoption curves
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate early-stage startups in future-tech verticals
- Design pilot programs for prototype technologies with 3-year commercialization horizons
- Present strategic frameworks to global stakeholders at industry summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning within tech, consulting, or R&D environments
- Proven track record in anticipating market shifts (e.g., blockchain, metaverse, neuromorphic computing)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent certification (e.g., CFA, PhD)
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and Delphi techniques
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling
- Published thought leadership in future-tech domains (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
- Security clearance for classified innovation projects (preferred)
