Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Lead innovation sprints with engineering and product teams to prototype future solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Manage annual innovation budget allocation and ROI analysis
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies across enterprise divisions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with 8+ years tech strategy experience
- Proven track record in R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience with patent development and IP strategy
