Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Analyze emerging tech (quantum, AI, biotech) for commercial viability
- Develop patent strategies and IP protection frameworks
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic tech planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or biotech
- Strong financial modeling and ROI analysis capabilities
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
- Experience with agile/lean methodologies in innovation contexts
- Excellent presentation skills for executive audiences
