Responsibilities
- Architect 10-year technology strategy roadmap aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead discovery and evaluation of emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech interfaces)
- Direct cross-functional R&D initiatives focused on next-generation product development
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Develop future-proof governance frameworks for ethical technology deployment
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members for resource allocation decisions
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic trends impacting technology adoption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in C-suite or VP-level roles
- Proven track record in launching at least two disruptive technology initiatives
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, biotech)
- PhD or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in top-tier technology publications
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Deep understanding of ethical technology frameworks and regulatory landscapes
