Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3.0) to identify high-impact opportunities for market disruption
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with corporate vision and market evolution
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present strategic technology recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for R&D collaboration
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory trends affecting technology adoption
- Build and lead a team of futurists and technology analysts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; PhD preferred
- 12+ years in technology strategy, corporate innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching technology initiatives with $10M+ budgets
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts
- Experience advising C-suite on technology disruption and digital transformation
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
