- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and competitor R&D strategies
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Quantify ROI scenarios for next-gen technologies including quantum computing and neural interfaces
- Present disruption mitigation plans to executive stakeholders and board committees
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proof methodologies and ethical tech frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years focused on emerging tech ecosystems
- Proven track record of launching at least two disruptive technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable energy systems
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (preferred)
- Exceptional data modeling skills with proficiency in Python, R, or similar analytical tools
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets and managing vendor ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry white papers
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
