Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum systems, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen interfaces (AR/VR/metaverse)
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology) for competitive advantage
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and quantum encryption
- Collaborate with C-suite on patent strategies and market disruption models
- Present strategic briefings to investors and government innovation councils
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets for experimental technology incubation
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE)
- Expertise in at least 3 disruptive fields: quantum, AI ethics, or climate tech
- Proven track record of scaling technologies from lab to market
- Experience with global regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CISA, EU AI Act)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, scenario planning)
