Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess market impact
- Partner with R&D to incubate breakthrough innovations and accelerate time-to-market
- Present strategic recommendations to the executive board and secure cross-functional buy-in
- Manage a $5M innovation budget and oversee vendor/partner relationships for pilot programs
- Author thought leadership content and represent InnovateNext at global tech conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products or services with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, IoT, or biotech)
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and market forecasting
- Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management preferred
