- Develop strategic partnerships with tech startups, research institutions, and industry leaders
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for executive stakeholders
- Oversee pilot programs for emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3)
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons and technology scouting initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in executive leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year tech roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing, IoT)
- Strong background in market analysis and competitive technology intelligence
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- Certification in technology management or strategic foresight (e.g., CIO, CTO, or similar)
