Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with emerging trends (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Lead innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis for disruptive technologies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Manage $10M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused KPIs
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford HAI on future-proofing initiatives
- Build and mentor a 12-person technology strategy team
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven experience scaling enterprise innovation (>$100M impact)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Analytics
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or MIT Technology Review
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech)
- Executive presence with board-level presentation experience
