Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, advanced AI) to identify strategic opportunities and threats through 2030
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps with phased implementation plans and ROI projections
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology adoption priorities
- Establish KPI frameworks to track innovation pipeline maturity and competitive positioning
- Represent the company at industry forums and publish thought leadership on future tech trends
- Partner with policy teams to navigate regulatory implications of emerging technologies
- Maintain competitive intelligence through global tech ecosystem scanning and academic partnerships
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio examples required)
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Certification in Technology Futures Forecasting (e.g., Foresight Methodology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technological adoption curves
- Experience building innovation ecosystems with academia and government labs
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
