Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops and hackathons for ideation
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
- Build and maintain relationships with leading tech research institutions and startups
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes
- Oversee R&D investments in next-generation innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Engineering preferred
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management a plus
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets
- Portfolio of successfully implemented tech transformation projects
