Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3)
- Conduct competitive analysis and technology forecasting to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven insights
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio including vendor relationships and technology partnerships
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of continuous learning and experimentation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least three market-defining technology products
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, or quantum computing
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with technology focus
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million dollar budgets
