- Conduct competitive analysis of future-focused tech startups and academic research
- Design ethical frameworks for responsible deployment of advanced autonomous systems
- Secure strategic partnerships with quantum computing hardware manufacturers
- Present technology briefings to investors and board members quarterly
- Mentor junior engineers in future-skill development (neural interface design, etc.)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or hypergrowth startups
- Proven track record in AI/ML deployment at scale (TensorFlow/PyTorch expertise)
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on emerging tech forecasting
- Certification in Quantum Computing Architecture (IBM Q or similar)
- Experience with regulatory compliance for autonomous systems (NIST, ISO 21434)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 commercialized future-tech innovations
