- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-tech innovation
- Partner with C-suite executives to align tech strategy with business objectives
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members with data-driven insights
- Mentor innovation teams in agile methodologies for long-term tech development
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory frameworks affecting 2026 tech landscape
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in future-focused roles
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, or climate-tech
- Proven track record of launching successful tech initiatives with $10M+ budgets
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Certifications in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFP) or Technology Foresight
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and investor audiences
- Deep understanding of global tech ecosystems and innovation ecosystems
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
