Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate emerging technologies into core products
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape assessments for emerging fields
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with agile methodologies
- Present strategic visions to investors and industry thought leaders
- Mentor junior technologists in future-focused skill development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership roles
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech/climate tech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Track record of launching disruptive products or research initiatives
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation funding or grants
