Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with global market trends and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D projects in AI ethics, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Secure and manage $5M+ innovation budgets through federal grants and corporate partnerships
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives, investors, and government stakeholders
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technology adoption and ROI in emerging markets
- Mentor senior engineers and product managers on futuristic technology integration
- Monitor geopolitical and scientific disruptions affecting tech deployment timelines
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Track record of securing $10M+ in federal innovation grants (SBIR/DOE/NSF)
- Published thought leadership in Nature, IEEE, or top-tier tech journals
- Experience advising Fortune 500 CTOs on technology transformation
- Deep expertise in regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems and biotech
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for international partnership development
- Portfolio of deployed technologies affecting 1M+ users
