Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) with 2026+ impact
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps integrating innovative solutions with business strategy
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with clear ROI projections
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology adoption and risk mitigation
- Partner with product teams to translate future tech capabilities into market-ready solutions
- Monitor global tech policy developments and assess regulatory implications for our strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, blockchain)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., AWS ML Specialty, Google Cloud AI) preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
