Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with business growth objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, bioinformatics) into product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Establish KPIs and analytics frameworks to measure technology adoption ROI and innovation velocity
- Build strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and investment recommendations to the board of directors
- Maintain competitive intelligence through global tech trend analysis and patent landscape mapping
Qualifications
- 12+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of scaling technologies from concept to market (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI, quantum computing, blockchain, or synthetic biology
- Certified in Technology Strategy (CTS) or equivalent strategic innovation methodology
- Experience developing 5+ year technology roadmaps with measurable impact metrics
- Executive-level communication with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
