Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies and forecast industry trends through 2030
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating future solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology vision to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build innovation frameworks for rapid experimentation and iteration
- Analyze competitive landscapes and identify disruptive opportunities
- Drive sustainable technology adoption and ethical innovation practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership roles
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Exceptional communication for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience building innovation ecosystems and partnerships
- PhD or Master's in relevant technical field preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology futures
