Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional innovation initiatives spanning AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology integration
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Collaborate with product teams to translate strategic vision into actionable development plans
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory shifts affecting future tech adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership roles
- Proven track record in emerging technology adoption and commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics, or synthetic biology
- Experience with futures methodologies (e.g., scenario planning, Delphi studies)
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) highly desirable
