Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry projections and market disruptions
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into implementation blueprints
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting long-term technology adoption
- Champion innovation culture through mentorship and thought leadership initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of developing multi-year technology roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, Web3, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex futures scenarios
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or MBA with tech focus
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Certification in technology management (CTM, CTP, or equivalent) preferred
- Portfolio of published thought leadership on future technology trends
