Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections
- Identify emerging tech disruptors (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business units
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D portfolio with ROI-focused prioritization
- Build external partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record launching at least 3 market-defining products
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, or biotech integration
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in technology journals (e.g., Nature Tech, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ engineers
