Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with global market trends and organizational vision
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AI, etc.) for disruptive business applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and launch innovative solutions addressing future societal needs
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 companies
- Present technology roadmaps and investment recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technological adoption and adaptation
- Design ethical frameworks for responsible deployment of transformative technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services in emerging tech domains
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI, or climate tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technological ecosystems
- Executive presence with demonstrated success influencing C-level decision-making
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding for experimental initiatives
