Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology vision aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging technologies (AI, quantum, blockchain)
- Analyze competitive landscapes and regulatory impacts on future tech adoption
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budget for strategic innovation initiatives
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of continuous innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Proven track record of scaling technology initiatives to enterprise level
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in future technologies preferred
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets
