- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to the board of directors
- Drive organizational adoption of future-proof digital infrastructure
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for 2026 initiative incubation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in developing 5+ year tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or biotech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience securing federal grants for future-tech initiatives (SBIR/STTR preferred)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Portfolio demonstrating commercialization of at least one future-tech innovation
