Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies (AI quantum computing, biotech fusion) with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Partner with R&D to translate futuristic concepts into viable R&D pipelines and proof-of-concept projects
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging tech risks/opportunities and influence corporate strategy decisions
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academic researchers, and industry disruptors
- Author white papers and thought leadership content positioning Innovatech as a 2026 technology pioneer
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting with proven 2026+ foresight
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (nanotech, AGI, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Published author or keynote speaker on future trends with demonstrable industry impact
- MSc/PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Experience developing scenario models for Fortune 500 companies in tech or healthcare sectors
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
