In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical future-state technology and immediate production implementation, ensuring our infrastructure is ready for the rapid advancements of the late 2020s.
You will work closely with C-level executives to define long-term technical strategies, mentor a high-performance engineering team, and lead R&D initiatives that push the boundaries of artificial general intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Lead the strategic roadmap for AI infrastructure, identifying emerging trends in predictive modeling and generative AI to ensure our technology stack remains ahead of the curve.
- Architect Scalable Solutions: Design and oversee the deployment of complex, scalable AI architectures capable of processing petabytes of real-time data.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead research projects focusing on neural network optimization and edge computing paradigms relevant to the 2026 market landscape.
- Talent Development: Mentor senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the technical department.
- Stakeholder Management: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights for executive stakeholders and non-technical partners.
- Compliance & Ethics: Establish governance frameworks for AI ethics, ensuring all systems adhere to strict regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field with a focus on Machine Learning.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years specifically in AI/ML system design.
- Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and distributed cloud systems (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to foresee industry shifts and translate them into technical roadmaps with a 3-5 year horizon.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale engineering projects.
- Innovation: A portfolio of research papers, patents, or significant contributions to open-source AI projects.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical strategies to diverse audiences.
