Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 2026 innovation roadmap using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and climate tech
- Translate futuristic concepts into MVP prototypes and pilot programs with measurable KPIs
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Present compelling future-state narratives to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for responsible technological advancement
Qualifications
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products with $1M+ revenue impact
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent advanced degree
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three successful future-state implementations
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, Causal Layered Analysis)
