Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal impacts through 2026
- Develop and integrate strategic foresight frameworks into corporate planning, R&D roadmaps, and product development lifecycles
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineering, product, and leadership teams to translate foresight into actionable initiatives
- Author compelling scenario analyses and innovation briefs for executive stakeholders and board presentations
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Quantify market opportunities and risks associated with emerging technologies and disruptive business models
- Drive cultural transformation initiatives to embed future-thinking across organizational DNA
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Foresight, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology adoption lifecycle management
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with experience in trend mapping and data-driven forecasting
- Demonstrated success in translating complex futures into executable business strategies
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP, cross-impact matrix)
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication excellence
- Portfolio of published foresight work or innovation frameworks
